Kim Renae Alexander

Kim Renae (Heppeard) Alexander, 55 of Crystal Ave., Mount  Vernon, Ohio pass away Saturday morning March 30, 2013 at Knox Community Hospital.

Kim was born July 1, 1957, St. Maryís, Ohio, to Donald E. Heppeard and Lois (Sholler) Rhum.  She was a member of the New Life Church of the Nazarene.  Kim graduated from Mendon High School and graduated from Mount  Vernon Nazarene College  and North Central State College in Mansfield  where she was a LPN Nurse.

Kim worked in many of the nursing homes here in Mount  Vernon , Columbus and the Westerville area.  She worked  for LíNard Restorative Concepts, Inc.;  where she enjoy travel through Ohio.  Along with her family; she enjoyed camping and fishing.  They were members of Family  Campers and RVís and served has the State Childrenís Director. 

Kim is survived by her husband who they were married June 30, 1979 for almost 34 years, Thomas D. Alexander, daughter Lolita L. Alexander- Walker (Ronnie) both of Mount  Vernon, granddaughter Kimberly Rose Walker; grandson  Luke Skye Walker both of home, good friend and care giver Jessica M. Franz Mount Vernon,  her father Donald E. Heppeard (Marge) of Celina, mother Lois Rhum of Crestline,  brother Gregory K. Heppeard (Anna)of  Oklahoma, brother Tod L. Heppeard (Rhonda) of Hilliard, mother-in-Law Lolita R. Alexander of  Mount  Vernon, brother-in-laws, Charles N. Alexander (Michelle) of Centerburg,  Lawrence E. Alexander (Catherine) of Aurora, Colorado and sister-in-law Kathryn A. (Charles)  Bube of Phoenix, Arizona.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12 Ė 2:00PM at R.R. Hodges Chapel on the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Campus, where a Celebration of Life Service will start at 2:00PM.  The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Homes are handling the funeral services for the Alexander family.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to those who provided care to Kim during her battle with Multiple Sclerosis and other health issue. The doctors and their staff,  Knox Community Hospital, OSU Medical Center, Riverside Hospital,  our family,  church family and friends. Thank you all so much TDA.
